MY INDIA

I am very happy for my country as I know that now (better late than never) India is gonna CHANGE.  The reason for this is the fact that now in India electronic media like Zee News (my favorite) and many more are growing at super speed.  Now every politician and policeman have to think at least 10 times before doing anything NASTY (corruption, bullying, injustice etc) for now they are so afraid of the fact that electronic media might expose them and they might land in jail.

The reason for my thinking this way is the fact that in United States, which we all know as the most powerful country in the world, had this freedom of expression stuff many years back.  Take an example of the movie Air Force One (released in 1997).  In this movie, AF1 is hijacked by the Russian Criminals for the sake of their boss's freedom from US jail.  Now the people in power after the president wants to keep this news from spreading among Americans, but thanks to CNN, they had to call a press meet and HAD to declare the fact of the hijacking before the public.  Though, this was a movie but since movie is a mirror of the society so we can safely assume that by then in US this freedom of expression, especially of the electronic media, was there.

Though we had this newspaper stuff with us before the electronic media but I don't think it could cause any effect in the past as powerful people had capability of "killing" the news, which now they can't do in electronic media.  Take example of an ex-DGP case who put newspaper men in jail for publishing against him in the paper and nothing happened against him at that time, but thanks to electronic media and their "media trial" (as these shitty people call it), he is now behind bars.  After the rise of electronic media, print media has also grown many folds and there is no denying this fact.

Now, although it hurts me everyday seeing news of corruption in the Common Wealth Games and our leaders demanding five times hike in their SALARY (as if they need it!), but somewhere deep in my heart I know this will effect the loot going on in India from now on.
